About Schwanden

The Schwanden-Sigriswil ski area stretches above Lake Thun, on sunny slopes that are often above the sea of fog. It comprises three lifts: the Schwanden ski lift, the Wilerallmi ski lift, and the Allmendschwand chairlift.

The Schwanden ski lift offers a variety of runs for everyone, with the Skihöckli at the base. On the Wilerallmi, above Sigriswil, four runs of varying difficulty and the Stemmbogen Pintli await skiers. In Allmendschwand, which is covered with artificial snow, children and beginners can learn to ski at the snow sports school, and a separate toboggan run is available.

Justistal offers 23 km of cross-country skiing trails, and a 2-km night loop is groomed in Schwanden. Snowshoe trails and winter hiking trails round out the offerings.

Access by STI bus from Thun. Schwanden is part of the Magic Pass.
