About Grimmialp

The Grimmialp ski area is located at the very end of the Diemtigtal valley, in the regional nature park of the same name, above Schwenden. This family-friendly, sunny ski area is close to Spiez and Thun.

A chairlift, the Nydegg T-bar lift, and the Egg children’s T-bar lift serve about 10 kilometers of trails for all skill levels, some of which are covered with artificial snow. The Diemtigtal Swiss Ski School offers lessons in skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, and telemark skiing.

The Diemtigtal also offers cross-country ski trails, sledding trails, winter hiking trails, and snowshoe trails. Ski tourers can use the Raufli-Express ticket to ascend to the Rauflihorn.

Access by car via the A6 toward Zweisimmen, then 19 km through the Diemtigtal, or by PostBus to the Grimmialp stop. Grimmialp is part of the Magic Pass.
