About Rossberg

The Rossberg overlooks Oberwil in the lower Simmental. This small, family-run, friendly, and affordable resort stretches from 1,100 to 1,500 meters and offers views of the neighboring valleys, the Jura Mountains, and the Alps.

The ski lift serves up to 7.5 km of groomed blue and red runs, ideal for learning to ski. Thanks to the snowmaking system, which has been in place since 1995, this is one of the most reliable ski areas in terms of snow at this altitude. Younger visitors have their own children’s ski lift, and a snow tubing run rounds out the offerings.

The Rossberg also offers 4.5 km of cross-country skiing trails for classic and skating styles, including 1.5 km of lighted trails, as well as the 4.8-km Rossberg Trail for snowshoeing. The Niderhornblick restaurant welcomes skiers.

Rossberg is part of the Magic Pass.
