About Heimenschwand
The Heimenschwand ski lift is located on the Buchholterberg, above Thun, about a 15-minute drive from the city. Built in 1969, it climbs from an elevation of 1,005 to 1,183 meters.
Its easy slope is suitable for beginners and families with children. During the ski season, the Skilift-Beizli welcomes skiers.
The slope is lit: night skiing is available from 7:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, as well as on Wednesdays and Saturdays in addition to the afternoon. On Sundays, the ski lift operates from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The area also offers cross-country ski trails, some of which are lit.
Access by car from Thun, or by PostBus to the Dorf stop, then on foot toward Bleiken. Heimenschwand is part of the Magic Pass.
