About Habkern

Habkern is a village in the Bernese Oberland, above Interlaken, between Lake Thun and Lake Brienz. Its small, family-run ski area relies solely on natural snow and overlooks the Eiger, the Mönch, the Jungfrau, and the Augstmatthorn.

The large Sattelegg ski lift, which runs from 1,137 to 1,482 meters, serves slopes for all skill levels. The Kinderparadies, with its magic carpet, small ski lift, obstacles, and course, welcomes the youngest visitors. The Swiss Ski School in Habkern offers lessons there.

Above the village, the Lombachalp is a paradise for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and winter hiking, accessible by the Bus alpin.

Take the train to Interlaken, then the bus to Habkern. Habkern is part of the Magic Pass.
