About Kiental

The small estate of Kiental-Ramslauenen is located in the Kiental, a side valley of the Kandertal, 10 minutes from Reichenbach. It offers a spectacular view of the Blüemlisalp, the valley, and Lake Thun.

A chairlift takes 15 minutes to travel from the lower station (948 m) to Ramslauenen (1,405 m), where an easy run and two intermediate runs lead downhill. Near the lower station, a children’s ski lift allows beginners to practice their first turns.

The 5.4-km sledding run descends from Ramslauenen to Kiental, with nighttime sledding on Saturday evenings from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Snowshoe and winter hiking trails start at the top station, where the Berghaus Ramslauenen welcomes visitors.

The season is scheduled to run from December 25, 2026, to February 28, 2027. Take the train to Reichenbach, then the PostBus to the Kiental, Ramslauenen stop. Kiental is part of the Magic Pass.
