About Jaunpass

The Jaunpass connects the Bernese Simmental to the Fribourg region of Gruyère, above Boltigen. This family-run resort offers wide, sunny slopes at affordable prices, at elevations ranging from 1,408 to 1,608 meters.

The Zügwegen ski lift serves three easy blue runs, ideal for children and beginners, while the Winteregg ski lift offers one blue, one red, and one black run. The Zügwegen Kids Village, with its carousel, children’s ski lift, and playground, is free. The Jaunpass Swiss Ski School has its office at the base of the Zügwegen ski lift.

The Zügwegen ski lift is open for night skiing from 8:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The Gastlosenarena is the starting point for cross-country skiing, winter hiking, and sledding.

The regular season is scheduled to run from December 19, 2026, to March 7, 2027, with a preseason schedule on weekends starting November 28, 2026, snow conditions permitting. Jaunpass is part of the Magic Pass.
