About Gstaad
An iconic resort in the Bernese Oberland, Gstaad is a village of chalets located at an elevation of 1,050 meters, very close to the Vaud border and to Rougemont. Its ski area consists of several mountains: Rinderberg—Saanerslochgrat—Horneggli, the largest sector; the Eggli, connected to La Videmanette; as well as the Wispile and the Wasserngrat. The Glacier 3000, which is nearby, is covered by a separate package.
The slopes, mostly blue, are ideal for families. The Rinderberg Ronda ski safari takes you across three mountains without ever repeating a slope, and the Playground snowpark attracts freestyle enthusiasts.
Off the slopes, the region offers cross-country skiing, winter hiking, snowshoeing, sledding, and fondue in the great outdoors at Fondueland.
Gstaad is accessible by train via the MOB from Montreux or via Zweisimmen. Starting on your first night, the Gstaad Card provides access to trains and buses in the region. Gstaad is part of the Magic Pass since the 2025–26 season.
