About Niederhorn

The Niederhorn overlooks Lake Thun, above Beatenberg, in the Interlaken region. This small, family-run resort offers an exceptional view of the lake and the peaks of the Bernese Alps.

The Beatenbucht–Beatenberg funicular and the Beatenberg–Niederhorn gondola lead to the slopes, which are served by the Vorsass–Niederhorn ski lift. The Flösch run is easy, while the Slalom and Racing runs are of moderate difficulty. When snow conditions are good, the ungroomed run down to Beatenberg is a delight for freeriders.

The Niederhorn also offers a 3-kilometer sledding trail between the summit and Vorsass, snowshoe and winter hiking trails, as well as the Berghaus Niederhorn and the Vorsass mountain restaurant.

The Niederhorn is part of the Magic Pass. The Beatenbucht–Beatenberg funicular is included only if you continue on to Vorsass or to the summit.
