About Gantrisch-Gurnigel

The Gantrisch-Gurnigel ski area is located in the Gantrisch Nature Park, about 40 minutes from Bern, Thun, and Fribourg. Its slopes range in elevation from 1,340 to 1,590 meters, at the foot of the Gantrisch and the Nünenenflue, often above the sea of fog.

Two ski lifts—the Länggrätli and the Kuhberg—serve 6 km of groomed trails suitable for all skill levels. Since the area is protected, the trails are groomed using only natural snow. Younger children have their own Kinderland with the 100-meter-long Pinocchio ski lift.

Sledding, cross-country skiing, ski touring, and winter hiking round out the offerings.

Access by PostBus from Thurnen or Schwarzenburg, using the Gurnigel Ride and Board Pass, which combines transportation and a lift ticket. Gantrisch-Gurnigel is part of the Magic Pass.
