About Visperterminen

Visperterminen, known as the “Heidadorf,” is a sunny village above Visp, famous for its vineyards—some of the highest in Europe. In winter, it offers panoramic views of Switzerland’s highest peaks.

The chairlift departs from the village and winds through coniferous forests to Giw, at an elevation of about 2,000 m. From there, ski lifts serve blue, red, and black runs up to an elevation of more than 2,300 m.

Families love the children’s play area and its beginner ski lifts. The 7-kilometer toboggan run—one of the longest and sunniest in Valais—the natural ice rink at Bodmumatta, winter hiking trails, and snowshoe trails round out the offerings.

Visperterminen is part of the Magic Pass.
