About Gspon

Gspon is a small, car-free village perched at 1,894 meters on the sunny side of the Visp Valley, above Staldenried. Here, you can ski among the 4,000-meter peaks of Valais, with views of the Balfrin, the Weisshorn, and the Bietschhorn.

Two ski lifts serve approximately 5 km of slopes with artificial snow, at elevations ranging from 1,865 to 2,193 m, ideal for beginners, experienced skiers, and families. Here, there are no lines at the lifts, and the Rondell snow bar welcomes skiers right at the base of the slopes.

Winter hiking trails and snowshoe trails round out the offerings, and a local ski school helps beginners take their first steps on skis.

Gspon is accessible via the Stalden-Staldenried-Gspon cable car, which is not included in the Magic Pass.
