About Mayens de Conthey

The Ombrins ski lift is located in Les Mayens de Conthey, above the Rhône Valley, about 20 minutes from Sion. Operated by the Société des Téléskis des Mayens and numerous volunteers, this small village ski area fosters a family-friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

About 660 meters long, the ski lift climbs to an elevation of 1,440 meters and serves an easy slope—ideal for learning to ski—away from the crowds of the major resorts. Prices are among the most affordable in Valais.

The snack bar welcomes skiers for a break, serving cheese dishes and, in season, game. Opening hours depend on snow conditions: it’s a good idea to check the official website before heading up.

The Mayens de Conthey are part of the Magic Pass.
