About Lauchernalp

La Lauchernalp overlooks the Lötschental, a wild valley in Upper Valais on the edge of the Jungfrau-Aletsch UNESCO World Heritage Site. This sunny ski area, renowned for its snow conditions, offers wide slopes at altitudes of up to 3,100 meters.

The cable car departs from Wiler for Lauchernalp, where two chairlifts, a gondola, and a T-bar lift provide access to 40 km of slopes, ranging from easy blue runs to challenging black runs. Its highly popular freeride area is on par with those of the major resorts.

The youngest children learn to ski at Loichiland, which features magic carpets, and the Cool School Lötschental offers lessons. A toboggan run leads down from Lauchernalp to Wiler, and approximately 40 km of winter hiking trails and snowshoe trails, as well as cross-country ski trails in the valley, round out the offerings.

Lauchernalp is part of the Magic Pass.
