About Unterbäch
Unterbäch is a sunny village in Upper Valais, perched high above the Rhône Valley, with a panoramic view of Switzerland’s highest peaks. Its Unterbäch-Brandalp-Ginals ski area is ideal for families.
A first chairlift goes up to Brandalp, followed by a second one to Breite Stäg. The ski lifts then continue up to over 2,400 m, at the foot of the Augstbordgrat, the Dreizehntenhorn, the Schwarzhorn, and the Ginalshorn, from where blue and red runs lead back down to Unterbäch.
At the ski school’s Swiss Snow Kids Village, children learn while having fun on a conveyor belt, seesaws, and small jumps. Sledding, winter hiking, snowshoeing, ski touring, cross-country skiing, and ice skating round out the activities.
Passes purchased in Unterbäch are also valid in Eischoll. The Rarogne-Unterbäch cable car is not included in the Magic Pass.
