About the Jura Mountains
Monts Jura is the ski resort in the Pays de Gex region of the French Jura, about 30 minutes from Geneva. It comprises three areas—Lélex-Crozet, Mijoux-La Faucille, and Menthières—at elevations ranging from 900 to 1,680 meters.
The Lélex-Crozet ski area, accessible by gondola from Crozet and Lélex, offers an 800-meter vertical drop and views of Lake Geneva and Mont Blanc. Mijoux-La Faucille is ideal for beginners, while Menthières is the perfect family-friendly ski area.
The La Vattay Nordic Ski Area offers numerous cross-country ski trails and snowshoe trails.
Beginner areas are set up at all three locations, and children under 5 ski for free.
